One said, "I can't wait to go on a mission, I wonder where the prophet will send me!"
The other said, "Awe, we have 12 years left to wait!"
We explained that they could go at the same time to different places and teach the gospel and then watched 'Called to Serve.'
Half way through the movie one of my compassionate little guys leaned over to me with tears in his eyes and said "Do you think the prophet would decide we could go together since we are brothers and twins?"
My future missionaries on their 4th birthday...

I think it was the first time he realized they wouldn't be together 24/7 for the rest of his life. LOVE the special bond they share...

That is the cutest story I have ever heard. What lucky boys to have each other. They will be such good missionaries no matter where they go.
How sweet!! What good parents you are to have such a good family night! 12 years seems like such a long ways away...but why does time just FLY BY after you start having kids?? Thats why I love blogs...because it helps me remember all the fun times our family has had!
That is such a cute story! My boys had a similar experience. They are 2 years & 18 days apart, so there is a possibility that they won't see each other for four years while they each serve a mission. It hit them kinda hard to realize that. But! What stories they will have to share with each other!
That is so sweet. It'll be hard for them when they go there seperate ways.
This is making me all teary, remembering when my twins were still little and so innocent. I love having twin boys!
